Who we are

This agreement
These terms govern your use of Dyal. You accept them when you create an account or expressly confirm your acceptance. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to bind it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and how to exercise your rights: https://getdyal.com/privacy.
Your account
To create an account, you must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract where you live. An adult may include children in a family schedule under their responsibility and with any required authorization. Each account is personal; use the service’s invitations and permissions to collaborate.
Protect your login details and tell us if you discover unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own use and access you authorize, without automatically assuming responsibility for all unauthorized activity or security failures attributable to us.
What Dyal does
Dyal helps you plan and share schedules. Scheduled hours do not prove attendance or guarantee compliance with employment obligations. If you use it at work, you must check shifts, rest periods and calculations before making decisions or payments. Dyal does not replace professional advice or emergency or safety systems.
Other people’s data
Only enter and share data you are entitled to process, with a valid legal basis and any required notices or authorizations. Do not include sensitive or unnecessary information in names or labels, such as health information, identity documents, passwords or private addresses.
When an organization determines why and how data in its schedules is used, it is responsible for those decisions. Dyal processes that data on its behalf under lawful instructions and within the contracted service, while remaining responsible for its own legal obligations. Where required, this processing must be covered by a separate data processing agreement.
Content and permissions
You retain any rights you have in the content you enter. You authorize us to host, process, back up and display it according to your instructions, permissions and shared links, with help from providers needed to deliver and protect the service. We do not acquire ownership of your content, sell it or use it to train artificial intelligence models. Dyal’s software, brand and design belong to their respective owners.
Sharing schedules
Members may view or change information according to their permissions. Anyone with a shared week link can view it without an account and forward the link. Check what you share and with whom. You can revoke a link, but this does not delete copies or screenshots others have saved.
Acceptable use
Do not use Dyal for unlawful activities, harassment or infringement of rights. Do not access accounts or schedules without permission, distribute malicious code, bypass controls or overload the service. Do not resell access or copy or reverse engineer the software, except as permitted by mandatory law. You may report vulnerabilities to our email without accessing other people’s data or disrupting the service.
Price
Dyal is currently free. If we introduce paid plans or limit free features, we will explain the prices, terms and effective date at least 30 days in advance when they affect your existing account. We will not charge you or activate a subscription without your express acceptance. You may export your schedules or request a copy before the change.
Availability and service changes
We work to keep Dyal available and fix errors, but interruptions, maintenance and changes to features may occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a complete absence of errors; this does not limit applicable legal guarantees. Keep a copy of information you need to operate during an interruption.
If we withdraw a core feature or close the service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and help you obtain your data. A legal obligation or urgent security risk may require earlier action; in that case, we will inform you as soon as legally possible.
Liability
Each party is responsible for its own actions and obligations imposed by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If you use Dyal as a consumer, all mandatory rights and remedies available to you remain intact. For business use, and only where the law permits, we are not liable for indirect losses or indirect loss of profits; this exclusion does not affect the exceptions above.
Closing or suspending an account
You can delete a schedule in its settings and request account closure or a copy of your data at [email protected]. Deletion, legally required retention and temporary retention in backups are governed by the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict or suspend access for a material breach, a legal obligation or a risk to the service or others. The measure will be proportionate. Where possible, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue. You may email us to request a review. We will help you retrieve your data unless legal or security restrictions prevent it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms because of service changes, legal requirements or security reasons. We will email you about material changes and their effective date at least 30 days in advance, unless a legal obligation or security emergency requires a shorter period. Changes will not apply retroactively.
You may close your account before the changes take effect. Where the law requires renewed acceptance, we will request it expressly; silence will not replace it. Otherwise, continued use after the announced effective date means accepting the changes.
Governing law and your local rights
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your habitual residence where those protections apply.
You may use the courts and authorities available to you by law, including those where you live when applicable. For business disputes, the parties submit to the competent courts of the Dominican Republic, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. You may contact us to try to resolve an issue, but doing so is not a condition for exercising your rights.
Languages and interpretation
The Spanish and English versions are intended to express the same agreement. Any difference will be resolved under applicable law and consumer protection rules, without imposing a version in another language on a consumer. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Questions or complaints: [email protected].
